Three Card Poker is a casino poker game that has found much popularity at both land-based and online casinos. Like all casino poker games it is played against the Dealer rather than against other Three Card Poker players.
Three Card Poker contains two mini-games – Pair Plus and Ante. You can bet on either of these or on both of them, and you can place different size bets on the two games.
In both of the Three Card Poker games, 3 cards are dealt. The difference between the two games is that in Three Card Poker Pairs Plus specific hand combinations are paid out, regardless of what cards the Dealer has. Three Card Poker Ante has normal payouts that are based on the Dealer’s hand relative to your own hand; and bonus payouts that are based on a bonus hand combinations, regardless of the Dealer’s hand.
You first place your bet in the Pair Plus betting circle and click the Deal button. Three cards are dealt to you, and you are paid out for your hand combination – no matter what the Dealer gets.
You place your bet in the Ante betting circle and click the Dealer button. You are dealt 3 cards, and then have the option of folding or raising on your bet. Note that if you fold and you also took a Pair Plus bet, you lose both your bets.
In order to play against the Dealer you need to make a raise. In order to play against you, the Dealer needs at least a Queen-high hand. The object is now to beat the Dealer’s hand.
